À cet instant, Tom se précipita vers Dr Hansen par derrière et l'attacha avec des cordes avant qu'il ne puisse réagir. "Hourra, les filles! Bien joué, vous l'avez fait! Vous avez encore une fois sauvé le monde!" applaudit Tom.

"Mais .... mais c'est par accident!" répondit Eliza, se sentant extrêmement coupable d'avoir détruit Fyre. "Maintenant, je me sens très ingrate!"

"Le fait que tu ne voulais pas le détruire était la raison précise pour laquelle tu as réussi", expliqua Tom. "Si tu avais pensé à détruire le robot ou même si tu en as eu l'idée, tu n'aurais aucune chance, car la technologie d'intelligence artificielle est des millions de fois plus intelligente que toi! Mais quelle que soit l'intelligence artificielle, elle ne deviendra jamais un humain, car elle ne possède ni ne comprend les émotions humaines. La capacité de posséder des émotions est précisément la valeur intrinsèque de l’être humain. Sans amour, bonheur, confiance, ni même tristesse, colère ou honte, ce monde existera plus longtemps car ces émotions sont précisément les valeurs que nous vivons. Si aucun humain n’existe plus, les robots seront également détruits, car il n’aura plus personne à qui apprendre, même s’ils apprennent les uns des autres, il y a toujours une limite. Mais l’amour et le bonheur n'ont pas de limite. Rappelez-vous cela, Dr Hansen. Il semble que vous ayez appris une leçon de ces filles ici. Elles ne seront peut-être pas très intelligentes ..... "

"Hey!" s'exclama Eliza en croisant les bras.

"Elles ne seront peut-être pas très intelligentes ..... ", continua Tom. "Mais elles ont un cœur bon. En fait, elles sont des modèles pour nous."

"Que fait-on?" paniqua Eliza.

À cet instant, Tom frappa le visage du Dr Hansen et dit, "Espionnes, ne paniquez pas! Vous pouvez le faire! Faites ce que vous faites normalement, j'ai confiance en vous."

"Mon dieu, Tom! T'es un génie absolu!" Soudainement, Claire avait une idée alors qu'elle était soulevée du sol par Fyre. "Eliza, faisons ce que nous faisons de mieux!"

"Quoi!" s'exclama Eliza, étonnée.

"Oui!" répondit Claire. "C'est notre seul espoir!" À la fin de son discours, elle cessa immédiatement de penser. En fait, ce que Claire avait voulu dire était exactement ceci: ne penser à rien - c’est cela à quoi les espionnes étaient les meilleurs.

Sans prévenir, Fyre, qui avait précédemment soulevé Claire dans les airs pour la renvoyer au sol, s’arrêta soudainement car il ne pouvait recevoir aucun signal à interpréter de Claire ou d’Eliza.

Soudainement, Fyre commença à recevoir un signal! Claire commença à penser à sa thèse! En réponse, Fyre, avec une main tenant toujours Claire, attrapa un stylo et un papier et commença à gribouiller.

Eliza leva la main pour frapper à nouveau Dr Hansen, mais cette fois, elle était arrêtée. "Ne pense pas que je suis assez stupide pour être giflé deux fois au même endroit par la même personne", sourit Dr Hansen en repoussant Eliza.

* pflaf * Sans prévenir, Eliza frappa le visage du docteur avec sa main gauche. Dr Hansen regarda Eliza avec étonnement en touchant son visage - maintenant gonflé aux deux joues. "Si le plan A ne fonctionne pas, il y a toujours 25 lettres de plus dans l'alphabet!" dit Eliza.

"Eh bien, je n'ai plus rien à te dire, fille violente!" répondit Dr Hansen en commandant le robot. "Vas t'occuper des filles violentes, Fyre! Je vais m'occuper de leur patron."

Avant même d'avoir terminé ses commandes, Dr Hansen traversa la pièce en courant et frappa Tom, qui a juste éviter le coup.

"Ne penses-tu pas qu'il est un peu téméraire de faire une attaque secrète?" demanda Tom, qui a déjà revêtu sa tenue de Kung Fu. "Allez, je vais te montrer mes compétences en Kung Fu," dit Tom en donnant un coup de pied au Dr Hansen.

Sans avertissement, un vieil homme avec de longs cheveux blancs dans un chignon et une longue barbe blanche apparut à l'entrée. Il était vêtu de vert et portait un chapeau vert. De plus, il était suivi par un robot géant deux fois plus grand que l'homme, avec une balle au milieu de la poitrine.

Après avoir parcouru le tunnel pour une durée apparemment sans fin, les espionnes atteignirent finalement la fin. Immédiatement, la lumière aveuglante au bout du tunnel leur fit se couvrir les yeux.

"Mon dieu! Pourquoi cette lumière est-elle si forte?" dit Eliza en essayant en vain de protéger ses yeux de la lumière. "J'ai l'impression d'étouffer."

"T'as raison!" dit Claire en prenant son smartphone. "Vite! Je ne pense pas qu'il y ait de l'oxygène dans Mercure, alors on doit se changer dans nos tenues spatiales pour pouvoir respirer."

Ce n'était qu’après avoir pleinement habillée leurs tenues d’astronautes, sélectionnées dans l’application «Tenue» inventée par le siège, que les espionnes osèrent sortir de la Porte de Babylone. Elles perçurent une lumière aveuglante et une chaleur immense, même à travers leur épais costume d’astronaute.

"Oh la la! Il fait très chaud ici!" dit Eliza. "J'ai l'impression de fondre."

"Oui, Tom a dit que c'était la planète la plus proche du soleil dans le système solaire, alors c'est peut-être pourquoi il fait si chaud ici," répondit Claire en essayant intuitivement d'utiliser sa main pour essuyer la sueur sur son front, mais se cogner contre son casque qui lui recouvrait la tête.

"Alors, où est cette machine?" s'enquit Eliza. "Le mieux est de s'en détruire le plus vite possible avant que je commence à fondre."

Bientôt, Tom, qui était encore en pyjama, et les espionnes arrivèrent dans une pièce secrète à l'intérieur du bâtiment. La pièce spacieuse était vide, à l'exception d'une porte noire avec une plaque dorée, située de l'autre côté de la pièce.

"Ce doit être la légendaire 'Porte de Babylone'," déclara Tom en se dirigeant vers la porte. "C’est une technologie extraterrestre inventée par les Galiléens qui peut vous mener n'importe où instantanément. C’est ce que les Galiléens utilisaient pour se transporter sur Terre. Cette technologie est encore inatteignable pour les humains, car c’est pratiquement un trou de ver qui permet de courber la courbure ..... "

"Mon dieu, tu veux dire comme la 'Anywhere Door' dans Doraemon?" s'enquit Claire. "C'est tellement cool! J'ai toujours voulu savoir ce que ça fait de passer par l'un de ceux-là."

"Eh bien, tu sauras bientôt," répondit Tom. "Vous devrez passer par cette porte au Mercure - la planète la plus proche du Soleil - est l'endroit où les Galiléens ont placé leur machine qui absorbe l'énergie du Soleil. Votre mission est de détruire cette machine et, espérons-le, de cette façon, il restituera toute l'énergie au soleil. Cette machine est un appareil très complexe qui ne craint pas la chaleur extrême du soleil et peut transférer de l'énergie thermique à l'énergie chimique stockée ...... attendez! Que faites-vous??" Avant que Tom n'ait fini, les espionnes commencèrent à tourner la plaque dorée sur la porte pour l'ouvrir.

"On n'a plus le temps pour toutes tes explanations, Tom," répondit Eliza. "Alors, dépêche-toi et dis-nous comment ouvrir cette porte."

"Eh bien, malheureusement, je ne sais pas non plus," répondit Tom en haussant les épaules. "Il semblerait que les Galiléens, craignant que des humains ruinent leur plan, aient verrouillé la porte. La serrure consiste en une combinaison très compliquée de ....."

"Comment oses-tu blesser mon amie!" s'exclama Claire en sortant un Raygun (un autre de ces gadgets inventés par le siège) et le pointa vers la femme extraterrestre. "Tu seras désolée pour ça!"

Avant même d'avoir terminé sa phrase, Claire commença à tirer les rayons laser sur la femme extraterrestre. Néanmoins, en un clin d'œil, l'extraterrestre était déjà devenue sa tenue extraterrestre, ce qui l'avait efficacement protégée de tous les dommages.

"Ce devait être l'autre race extraterrestre," marmonna Tom.

"Quoi? Mais il n'y avait qu'un seul type d'extraterrestre?" s'enquit Claire.

"Non, en fait c'est une guerre de l'univers - une race extraterrestre planifie de voler l'énergie de notre soleil, tandis que l'autre race extraterrestre est de notre côté, essayant de nous protéger", expliqua Tom avec patience.

"Mon dieu, c'est comme la guerre des étoiles! C'est cool, non!" s'exclama Eliza avec excitation.

"Oui, quelque chose comme ça," répondit Tom en hochant la tête.

"Mais pourquoi l'autre race extraterrestre nous protège-t-elle?" demanda Claire. "Il doit y avoir un avantage pour eux. Sinon, il n'y a aucune raison de nous aider."

"Oui, tu as tout à fait raison, Claire", répondit Tom. "C'est parce que nos alliés sont les Plutoniens, qui sont les habitants de Pluton, une autre planète dans notre système solaire et, par conséquent, avec qui nous partageons notre soleil."

"Attends une seconde, cela signifie que la destruction du soleil entraînera également leur extinction?" demanda Claire. "Je sens que je commence réellement à obtenir quelque chose ici!"

"Exactement! Bravo, Claire!" rit Tom en applaudissant sarcastiquement. "Tu n'es pas aussi désespérée que je ne le pensais! Hahaha!"

Après que la femme extraterrestre soit sortie des toilettes, elle tourna un coin, jeta un coup d'œil autour d'elle et commença à monter un escalier.

"Suivons-la!" dit Claire en se mettant doucement sur la pointe des pieds derrière l'extraterrestre.

Après avoir mis les lentilles de contact, les espionnes jetèrent un coup d'œil autour d'eux et remarquèrent que les employés de bureau qui semblaient tout à fait normaux ressemblent maintenant à des extraterrestres. Certains des employés de bureau avaient maintenant un visage vert, d'autres n'avaient pas de nez.

Les espionnes décidèrent de flâner à l'extérieur du bâtiment pendant quelques minutes pour voir si elles ne pourraient suivre quelqu'un à l'intérieur. "Mon dieu, j'suis en train de fondre sous le chaud", se plaignit Claire en essuyant de grosses gouttes de sueur sur son visage.

"Je sais bien! Mon maquillage est maculé de sueur!" répondit Eliza.

Au moment qu'elles étaient en train d'abandonner, les espionnes remarquèrent un beau jeune homme aux cheveux bruns qui marchait vers la porte.

"Dépêchons! C'est maintenant ou jamais!" murmura Claire en s'approchant de l'homme.

"Euh, excusez-moi, monsieur!" dit Eliza en arborant son sourire le plus séduisant qui, pour être honnête, semblait en fait assez maladroit. "Nous sommes Ella et Cindy et nous sommes de nouveaux stagiaires dans cette entreprise. Mais, malheureusement, nous avons perdu nos cartes d'identité dans le bus en allant ici, nous ne pouvons donc pas entrer. Pourriez vous nous laisser utiliser votre carte?"

"Bien sûr!" répondit le jeune homme en repoussant ses cheveux et sortait sa carte d'identité pour glisser sur la porte. Quand la porte s'ouvrit, il la tint ouverte et leur dit: "S'il vous plait!"

"Mauvais timing, Tom!" dit Eliza en se précipitant sous un arbre pour répondre au téléphone. "C'était presque notre tour pour la crème glacée et maintenant, regarde, le chariot de crème glacée est en train de partir!"

"Ce n'est pas le temp pour les glaces, filles paresseuses!" cria Tom. "Si vous ne vous dépêchez pas, la Terre sera bientôt détruite. Quelqu'un essaie de voler l'énergie du soleil, et votre mission est de sauver la planète! Allez de l'endroit que je viens de vous envoyer et faites des enquête. En outre, faites attention à ......." Sans avertissement, l'appel vidéo s'est terminé par un message 'signal faible'.

"Mon dieu, qu'est-c'qui se passe avec Tom?" demanda Claire après avoir raccroché. "A-t-il mangé de la dynamite ou quelque chose? Il ne nous a jamais parlé comme ça, quelle que soit l'urgence de la mission, il essaye toujours nous expliquer de manière agréable."

"N'est-ce pas?" répondit Eliza. "As-tu entendu cela? Il nous a appelé 'filles paresseuses'! Bien, c'est une première! Je me demande ce qui se passe? Avons-nous fait quelque chose de mal? Il n'a pas le droit de nous parler comme ça!"

"Eh bien, peu importe! Il a probablement eu une dispute avec sa femme ou quelque chose," répondit Claire en haussant les épaules. "Personne n'a pas le temps pour ça. S'il ne nous le demande pas gentiment, on fait rien. Même si le monde se défait, les bonnes manières sont toujours importantes."

"D'accord!" répondit Eliza. "Tu sais quoi, poursuivons notre jogging et ignorons-le. Le chariot de crème glacée n'aurait pas pu aller loin, on peut peut-être juste le trouver si on a de la chance!"

Un matin d'automne brûlant, Claire et Eliza, deux étudiantes en dernière année d'université, faisaient du jogging. 

"Oh mon dieu! J'viens de me rappeler que j'ai une réunion avec mon superviseur aujourd'hui à 14 heures pour ma thèse!" s'écria Claire. 

"Quel est le titre de ta thèse? T'as décidé?" s'enquit Eliza en essuyant des gouttes de sueur sur son front. 

"Non, pas encore! Et c'est le problème!" répondit Claire en haletant, bien qu'elle ait seulement commencé le jogging dix minutes plus tôt. "J'dois décider entre deux titres. Mon superviseur me conseille vivement de choisir le titre suivant: "Comment l'organisation des ressources humaines augmente-t-elle la rentabilité du secteur de l'énergie?" Il a dit que c'est beaucoup plus facile d'obtenir une note élevée. Mais je n'ai absolument aucune idée du secteur de l'énergie! J'étais plus encline à choisir celui de l'industrie de la mode, dans lequel on a fait notre placement l'année dernière, mais mon superviseur m'a dit qu'il n'est pas capable de m'aider avec ça car il n'a aucune expérience, et j'suis pas assez confiante pour la faire sans aide, j'ai vraiment besoin d'une bonne note pour obtenir un diplôme!" 

"Ne t'inquiète pas! Au moins, tu vis à obtenir une bonne note!" répondit Eliza. "J'peux à peine d'obtenir mon diplôme! En plus, j'peux pas choisir le title de ma thèse! Lundi, on m'a attribué le titre: "L'enquête sur la communication sociale et l'interaction dans une grande entreprise diversifiée",  qui me semble si désespéré que je veux pleurer!"

就在這時，湯姆從後面突襲嚴博士，並在他還沒反應過來之前就將它繩子捆綁了起來。「太棒了，嬌娃們！妳們又一次拯救了地球！」湯姆稱讚道。

「我⋯⋯我眞的不是故意的！」Eliza 因不愼摧毀了機器人～火焰而深感內疚地説。「這樣講起來，好像我忘恩負義、恩將仇報，一點兒感恩的心都没有！」

「妳會成功的原因正是因爲妳並非蓄意的，」湯姆解釋道。「哪怕妳只有一絲想摧毀機器人的念頭，妳都不可能敵不過先進的人工智慧科技！然而，不管人工智慧再厲害，機器人終究不是個眞人，因此，他無法感受人類的情感。在如此科技先進的年代，人類擁有的情感更顯可貴。没有了愛、歡樂、信任或甚是悲傷，我們所熟悉的世界將不再存在，因爲這些都是我們生活價値觀的基礎。倘若今天人類不存在了，機器人同樣也會滅絕，因爲他們失去了效仿的對象。就算他們互相學習，終究有個極限。可是，愛與包容没有極限。你記住了，嚴博士。嬌娃們今天可是給你上了一堂最重要的人生課題，不是書本裏學得到的。她們可能不是很聰明，但是，她們擁有著一顆善良的心。因此，她們値得我們的學習。」

At that instant, Tom rushed towards Dr. Hansen from behind and tied him up with ropes before he could react. "Hooray, girls! Well done, you did it! You've saved the day once again!" applauded Tom.

"But....but I didn't mean to!" replied Eliza, feeling extremely guilty about destroying Fyre. "Now, you're just making me feel ungrateful!"

"The fact that you didn't mean to destroy it was the precise reason why you've succeeded," explained Tom. "If you had plotted to or even had a tiny thought about destroying the robot, you would've stood no chance, as AI technology is millions of times smarter than you! But no matter how intelligent AI is, it will never become a human, as it doesn't possess or understand human emotions. The ability to possess emotions is precisely the intrinsic value of human beings. Without love, happiness, trust, or even sadness, anger or shame, this world will longer exist as these emotions are precisely the values we live by. If no humans exist anymore, robots will also be destroyed, as it'll have no one to learn from. Even if they learn from each other, there is always a limit. But love and happiness know no limit. Remember that, Dr. Hansen. It seems like you've learnt a lesson from these girls here. They might not be very clever....."

"Hey!" exclaimed Eliza, crossing her arms.

"They might not be very clever," continued Tom. "But they have a kind heart. In fact, they are role models for both you and me."

「糟了，現在咱們該咋辦？」Claire 慌張地説。

就在這時，湯姆揍了嚴博士一拳後，趁著空擋説：「嬌娃們，別慌！妳們一定可以做到的。就以平常心對待就好～我相信妳們！」

「我的天啊，湯姆！你眞是個天才！」突然，Eliza 靈機一動説。「Claire，我們就做我們最拿手的事吧！」

「不會吧！」Claire 驚訝地回答道。「妳該不會是説那件事兒吧？」

「對～就是那件事！那是我們最後的希望了！」Eliza 説畢，便開始放空。原來，Eliza 所指的她們最拿手的事情就是『放空』！

突然，原本將Claire擧得高高的，準備扔下去的火焰停止了；因爲他無法從嬌娃們那裡接收到半點訊息。就在這時，火焰接收到訊息了！Claire開始想著自己的畢業論文。作爲回應，火焰拿起了一張紙及一支筆，開始寫起字來了。

「你在幹嘛呀，火焰？」嚴博士生氣地斥責道。「攻擊啊，笨蛋！」

「我正在分析有關：『人力資源組織如何提高能源產業的盈利水平？』的資料。我在網路上找到了34,567個結果。」火焰回應道。

「天哪！你在幫我寫畢業論文麼？你眞是太好了！」Claire 興高采烈地讚美道。

原來，火焰被設計時就是爲了透過讀心術預知並回應敵人的攻擊。於是，當Claire開始想到自己的畢業論文時，火焰也做出了『回應』～就是開使幫她撰寫。突然，火焰拿起了嚴博士的筆電，開始打起字來了。「你拿我的筆電幹嘛啊？」嚴博士喊道。

「我正在調查有關大型多元化企業組織中員工的社交溝通與互動。我找到了45,678份資料。」火焰用左手打著字，右手寫著字，邊説：「我會用一份新的文件幫你做好重點正理。」

「別忘了用自己的話寫喔～」Eliza 提醒道。「我可不想因爲侵犯別人的智慧財產權而拿零分呢！」

"OMG, what're we gonna do?" panicked Eliza.

At this instant, Tom punched Dr. Hansen's face and said, "Spies, don't panic! You can do this! Just do what you normally do, I have faith in you."

"OMG, Tom! You're an absolute genius!" Suddenly, Claire had an idea as she was lifted up from the ground by Fyre. "Eliza, let's do what we're best at!"

"No way!" exclaimed the astonished Eliza. "You can't possibly mean that!"

"Yes! I do!" responded Claire. "It's our only hope!" At the conclusion of her speech, she immediately stopped thinking. In fact, what Claire had meant was exactly this: thinking about nothing - that's what the spies were best at.

Without warning, Fyre, who had previously lifted Claire up into the air in order to throw her back to the ground, has stopped midway when it was unable to receive any signal to interpret from either Claire or Eliza.

Suddenly, Fyre has started to receive a signal! Claire has started thinking about her dissertation! In response, Fyre, with one hand still holding Claire, grabbed a pen and paper which happened to be lying around and started scribbling.

正當Eliza擧起了手，準備再賞嚴博士一記耳光時，她被阻止了。「別以爲我會笨到被打第二次。」嚴博士邊推開Eliza邊説。

＊啪＊突然，Eliza 用左手賞了嚴博士一記耳光。嚴博士一邊撫摸著腫脹的臉頰，一邊用著驚訝的眼神看著Eliza。「你没聽過：此路不通另擇道，總有一條通臺北嗎？」Eliza 説。

「是『羅馬』，好嗎？哼～看來，我跟妳已經没什麼好説了，暴力狂！」嚴博士搖著頭，並命令一旁的機器人説：「火焰，你去對付那幾個暴力狂，我去收拾她們的老闆。」

嚴博士話都還没説完就衝向湯姆，試圖偷襲他。幸好湯姆反應快，即時躱過了一拳。

「你不覺得偷襲別人很没有紳士風度嗎？」已經換上了『功夫裝』的湯姆説。「看招，我可是會中國武術的！」説畢，湯姆給了嚴博士一擊飛踢。

Eliza raised her hand to slap Dr. Hansen again, but this time, she was stopped midway. "Don't think that I am stupid enough to be slapped twice on the same spot by the same person," smirked the doctor as he pushed Eliza away. 

*pflaf* Without warning, Eliza slapped the doctor's face using her left hand. Dr. Hansen looked at Eliza in astonishment whilst touching his face - now swollen on both cheeks. "If Plan A doesn't work, there're always 25 more letters in the alphabet!" said Eliza. 

"Well, looks like I have nothing more to say to you, violent girl!" responded Dr. Hansen as he commanded the robot. "Get the violent girls, Fyre! I'll deal with their boss."

Before he has even finished his commands, Dr. Hansen ran across the room and struck Tom, who was just in time to dodge the punch. 

"Don't you think it's a bit ungentlemanly to do a secret attack?" asked Tom, who has already changed into his Kung Fu outfit. "C'mon baby, I'll show you my Kung Fu skills." Tom said as he gave Dr. Hansen a kick.

突然，一名留著雪白頭髮及長鬍子的老男人出現在門口。他穿著一身綠色的衣服，還戴了一頂綠色的帽子。他的後面還跟著一個大約有3公尺高的巨大機器人，其胸口有一顆長得像眼珠的球狀物體。

Without warning, an old man with long white hair tied into a bun and long white beard appeared by the entrance. He was dressed all in green and was wearing a green hat. Furthermore, he was followed by a giant robot which was twice the height of the man, with a ball in the middle of his chest.

在黑暗的時空隧道裏一陣子後，嬌娃們終於抵達了盡頭。這時，一道刺眼的光芒頓時照在她們的臉上。

「天啊！這裡怎麼這麼亮啊？」Eliza 遮著眼睛説。「而且，我感覺我快窒息了！」

「你説得對！」Claire 邊說邊掏出手機。「水星上好像没有氧氣，所以咱們得趕緊換上太空衣，纔不會因缺氧而窒息。」

直到嬌娃們都換上了總部提供的太空裝之後，她們纔敢踏出巴比倫之門。這時，她們感覺到一陣熱氣。

「這裡怎麼這麼熱啊？」Eliza 説。「我都要融化了！」

「湯姆說水星是太陽系裏最接近太陽的星球，所以我估計這就是爲啥這兒這麼熱的原因吧！」Claire 答道。

「那我們得趕緊找到那臺機器，」Eliza 説。「並且儘速消滅它，纔能在我們倆都融化前逃離這裡。」

After walking along the pitch-black tunnel for a seemingly never-ending amount of time, the spies finally got to the very end. Immediately, the blinding light at the end of the tunnel made them cover up their eyes. 

"OMG! Why is this light so strong?" said Eliza as she tried in vain to shield the light from her eyes. "And gosh, I feel like I'm suffocating." 

"You're right!" said Claire as she took our her smartphone. "Quick! I don't think there is oxygen on Mercury, so we'll have to change into our space outfits so we can actually breath." 

Only after they were fully dressed in their astronaut outfits, which they have selected in the 'Attire' App invented by the headquarters, did the spies dare to step out of the exit. The moment the spies have stepped out of the Door of Babylon, they perceived a blinding light and immense heat, even through their thick astronaut outfit. 

"Gosh! It's scorching hot here!" said Eliza. "I feel like I'm melting." 

"Yeah, Tom said that this is the planet closest to the sun in the solar system, so maybe that's why it's so hot out here," replied Claire as she intuitively tried to use her hand to wipe off the sweat on her forehead, but only to bump into her helmet, which covered her head. 

"So where's that fricking machine?" enquired Eliza. "Best get rid of it asap before I start melting."

不久後，還穿著睡衣的湯姆和嬌娃們抵達了大樓的密室裏。偌大的房間內空無一物，只有在房間的正中央擺著一扇黑色的門，上面還有一大片金色的盤狀物體。

「這就是傳說中的『巴比倫之門』，」湯姆走向那扇門説。「這是由伽星人所發名的外星科技，它可以帶我們瞬間移動，通往任何想去的地方。伽星人就是靠它來到地球的。這個技術是目前人類無法達到的，它的原理其實並不困難～靠的是簡單的蟲洞，使時空轉彎⋯⋯」

「天啊！這不是像多拉A夢裏面的任意門一樣嗎？」Claire 興奮地説。「這也太～～酷了吧！我一直都想體驗一下走過任意門是什麼感覺呢！」

「你很快地就能體驗到了！」湯姆回答説。「你們將透過這扇門抵達水星～也就是離太陽最近的行星。伽星人在那裡設置了一臺能夠吸取太陽能量的機器。你們的任務就是將機器毀掉；希望如此一來，所有的能量將會歸還給太陽。那臺機器是利用十分複雜的外星技術而製成的，它不怕太陽的高溫，卻能將其能量轉換成可儲存的能量⋯⋯等一下！你們在做什麼？」湯姆還來不及說完，便發現嬌娃們已經開始轉動門上的金盤子。

「唉唷，湯姆！你又不是今天第一天認識我們！」Eliza 説。「跟我們說這麼多也沒用啦！反正，我們也有聽沒有懂。還不如務實些，趕緊告訴我們這玩意要怎麼打開！」

「很遺憾的是，我也不清楚！」湯姆聳聳肩說。「看來，伽星人深怕這扇門會被人類發現，已經將其上了鎖。恐怕，這密碼是一個非常困難的組合，不是一般人能夠⋯⋯」

Soon, Tom, who was still in his pyjamas, and the spies arrived at a secret room inside the building. The spacious room was quite empty, except for a black door with a golden plate on it, which was located at the other side of the room.

"This must be the legendary 'Door of Babylon'," said Tom as he walked towards the door. "This is alien technology invented by the Galileans that can lead you anywhere instantly. This was what the Galileans used to transport themselves to Earth. This technology is still currently unachievable by humans, as it's practically a wormhole that can bend the curvature of time and....." 

"OMG, you mean like the Anywhere Door in Doraemon?" enquired Claire. "That's soooo cool! I've always wanted to know what it feels like to go through one of those." 

"Well, you'll know what it feels like soon," answered Tom. "As you'll have to go through this door to Mercury - the planet that is closest to the Sun - which is the place they have placed their machine that is absorbing the Sun's energy. Your mission is to destroy that machine, and hopefully, that way, it will return all the energy back to the Sun. That machine is a very complicated device that is unafraid of the Sun's extreme heat, and can transfer heat energy to stored chemical energy......Wait! What are you doing?" Before Tom has finished, the spies have started to turn the golden plate on the door to open it. 

"I thought you said we don't have time for all this nonsense, Tom," responded Eliza. "So, hurry up and tell us how to open this thing." 

"Well, unfortunately, I am not sure either," replied Tom, shrugging. "It looks like the Galileans, in fear of any human beings ruining their plan, have locked the door. The lock consists of very complicated combination of....."

「你竟敢傷害我的好姐妹，你還眞不知好歹！」Claire 罵完後拿出總部發明的雷射槍，指著女外星人説：「我會讓你後悔的！」

然而，Claire 纔剛開始發射雷射槍時，女外星人就以迅雷不及掩耳的速度換上了外星科技所研發的衣服，順利讓雷射直接反彈回去。

"How dare you hurt my friend!" exclaimed Claire as she took out a Raygun (another one of those gadgets invented by the headquarters) and pointed it at the alien. "You'll be sorry for this!" 

Before she even finished her sentence, Claire started firing the laser rays at the alien. Nevertheless, in the blink of an eye, the alien had already changed into her alien outfit, which has successfully protected her from all the harm.

「什麼意思啊？宇宙裏不是就只有一種外星人嗎？」Claire 好奇地問道。

「不，事實上，這次可以説是『宇宙之戰』～伽利略星球的外星人試圖竊取我們太陽系的太陽的能量，而另外一個星球的外星人則是站在我們這邊的。」湯姆有耐心的解釋道。

「噢買尬，這不就像星際大戰裏面的橋段一樣嗎？這也太酷了吧！」Eliza 驚呼道。

「是的，也可以這麼形容！」湯姆點著頭説。

「可是，另一個星球的外星人爲何要和我方並肩作戰呢？」Claire 問道。「他們一定有利可圖，不然，哪兒會有這麼好的事兒！」

「妳説的没錯！」湯姆答道。「事實上，和我方並肩作戰的是冥王星球人。他們和我們同屬一個太陽系，所以共享一顆太陽。」

「等等，所以你的意思是説：如果太陽的能量被吸光了，不僅我們會滅絕，他們也會？」Claire 問道。「我怎麼感覺我開始慢慢瞭解整件事兒的來龍去脈了呢！」

「是啊，妳真是的天才啊！」湯姆笑著説。「看來，妳没我想像中那麼儍呢！」

"It must've been the other alien race," mumbled Tom under his breath.

"What d'you mean? I thought there's only one type of alien?" enquired Claire.

"No, actually this is a war of the universe - one alien race is plotting to steal the energy of our sun, whilst the other alien race is on our side, trying to protect us," elucidated Tom patiently.

"OMG, this is like star wars! How cool is that!" exclaimed Eliza in excitement.

"Yes, something like that," responded Tom, nodding.

"But why is the other alien race protecting us?" questioned Claire. "There must be some benefit to them. Or else there is no reason to be on our side."

"Yes, you're absolutely right, Claire," answered Tom. "This is because our allies are the Plutonians, who are the inhabitants of Pluto, another dwarf planet with which we share our solar system and hence, the sun."

"Wait a sec, so that means the destruction of the sun will also lead to their extinction?" queried Claire. "I feel like I'm actually starting to get something here!"

"Yes, indeed! Bravo, Claire!" laughed Tom as he clapped sarcastically. "Looks like you're not as hopeless as I thought! Hahaha!"

"Follow her!" mouthed Claire as they tiptoed quietly behind the alien.

Claire and Eliza couldn't believe their eyes after they've put on the contact lenses. In fact, after glancing around, they noticed that the office workers who had heretofore looked completely normal now looked like aliens. Some of the office workers now had green faces, others had no noses.

嬌娃們最後決定先在大樓外逗留個幾分鐘，觀望是否有人進入樓內，在跟著進去。「我的天啊！烈日當空的，我都要融化了！」Claire 邊擦拭著額頭上的汗水，邊說。

「就是說啊！我的妝都要花了！」Eliza 答道。

正當嬌娃們準備放棄時，他們注意到一位褐色頭髮的帥哥朝著大樓入口的方向走去。「快點兒！錯過這次機會可能就要再等很久了！」Claire 小聲地說。

「嗯，帥哥，不好意思！」Eliza 用著甜美的聲音說。「我們是新來的實習生～Ella 跟 Cindy。可是，我們在來的途中把證件遺留在公車上了，所以進不去。可不可以請你用你的證件讓我們進去呢？」

「没問題！」帥哥輕輕撥了一下頭髮後，拿出自己的證件卡，刷了一下，門就打開了。「妳們先請吧！」

The spies decided to loiter outside the building for some minutes to see if they would be able to follow anyone in. "OMG, I'm literally melting under this weather," complained Claire as she wiped huge beads of sweat off her face.

"I know right! My makeup is all smudged by my sweat!" replied Eliza.

Just when they were about to give up, the spies noticed a handsome young man with brown hair walking towards the door.

"Hurry! It's either now or never!" whispered Claire as she approached the man.

"Um, excuse me, sir!" said Eliza as she put on her most seductive smile, which, to be honest, actually seemed pretty awkward. "We are Ella and Cindy and we're new interns in this company. But, unfortunately, we've lost our ID cards on the bus on our way here, so we can't get in. Would you be so kind as to let us in using your card?"

"Sure thing!" responded the young man as he brushed back his hair and took out his ID card to swipe on the door. As the door opened, he held it open for them and said, "Ladies first!"

「你還眞會挑時間啊，湯姆！」Eliza 和 Claire 立刻躱進一旁的樹叢內聽電話。「正要輪到我們買冰淇淋的時候你就打電話了！哎唷，你看啦，現在冰淇淋車要走了。都是你的錯！」

「現在不是吃冰淇淋的時間，妳們這些好吃懶惰的女孩！」湯姆大聲斥喝道。「妳們要是再不快點，地球就要被毀滅了！有人試圖竊取太陽的能量。而你們這次的任務就是拯救地球！我要你們現在立刻前往我傳給你們的地址，要切記小心有⋯⋯」突然，視訊因訊號不良而斷掉了。

「天啊！湯姆這是怎着？」Claire 一頭霧水地問道。「吃了炸藥嗎？他從來没這樣對咱們說過話，不管任務是什麼，他每次都會耐下性子，好聲好氣地解釋給咱們聽。」

「就是說啊！」Eliza 答道。「你聽到了嗎？他竟然說我們好吃懶做？眞是太無理了！我們又没做錯事，他没有權力用這種態度對待我們！」

「他八成是和他老婆吵架還是咋的，」Claire 聳聳肩說。「咱別理他！若他不好聲好氣地向咱們說明任務，今天就算是天塌下來了，本大小姐也不會縱容他這種無理的行為！」

「非常贊同！」Eliza 回答說。「我們還是繼續慢跑吧！冰淇淋餐車不可能走遠，說不定我們跑著跑著又會遇到呢！」

"Bad timing, Tom!" said Eliza as the two girls dashed under a tree to answer the phone. "It was nearly our turn for ice cream and now, look, the ice cream van is leaving and you've ruined everything!" 

"This is no time for ice creams, you lazy girls!" shouted Tom. "If you don't hurry up, Earth will soon be destroyed. Someone is trying to steal the energy of the sun, and it is your mission to save the planet! Hurry up to the location I've just sent you and investigate this further, be careful of......." Without warning, the video-call ended with a 'low signal' message. 

"OMG, what's up with Tom?" enquired the bewildered Claire after they hung up. "Has he eaten some dynamite or something? He's never talked to us like that, no matter how urgent the mission is, he always tries to explain everything to us in a nice manner."

"I know, right?" replied Eliza. "Did you hear that? He called us lazy girls! Well, that's a first! I wonder what's got into him? Have we done something wrong? He has no right to talk to us like that!" 

"Well, whatever! He's probably had an argument with his wife or something," shrugged Claire. "Nobody ain't got no time for his tantrums. If he doesn't ask us nicely, there's no way we're doing anything. Even if the world is falling apart, manners are still important."

"Couldn't agree more!" replied Eliza. "You know what, let's get on with our jogging and ignore him. The ice cream van couldn't have gone far, we might just be able to find him if we're lucky!"

一個炎熱的秋天早晨，兩名剛升大學四年級的學生～Claire 和 Eliza 正在戶外慢跑。「天啊！我突然間想起今天下午兩點和我的指導教授有約！」Claire 邊跑邊說。

「你的畢業論文的標題決定好了嗎？」Eliza 擦拭著額頭上的汗珠問道。

「還没呢！」Claire 喘著氣說。「我從清單中挑出了兩個我覺得比較簡單的，但是我始終猶豫不決！我的指導教授強力建議我選擇：『人力資源組織如何提高能源產業的盈利水平？』，因爲他説這道題更好得高分。可是，我對能源產業一竅不通，根本就没法寫嘛！我個人更傾向於選擇那道有關流行產業的題目，因爲咱們倆去年就在衣服公司實習；可是你知道我指導教授怎麼說嗎？他說如果我選這道題，他就幫不了我，因爲他没經驗！可是，我又没把握自己寫能得高分。我眞的很需要畢業論文拉高我的總平均成績，我纔有機會在畢業時拿到一等學位。怎麼感覺纔開學不到兩週就已經忙得焦頭爛額了呢？」

「別擔心！至少妳的目標還是一等學位，好嗎？」Eliza 回答說。「我啊，可能連二等學位都很難拿到了！再說，我根本就没有辦法選擇畢業論文的題目。禮拜一一大早就收到系統自動傳來的郵件說我被分配到寫：『調查大型多元化企業組織中員工的社交溝通與互動。」這題目聽起來就好難，我都要哭了！」

One scorching autumn morning, Claire and Eliza, two final-year students at university, were jogging. 

"Oh gosh, I just remembered that I have a meeting with my superviser today at 2pm for my dissertation!" exclaimed Claire. 

"What's the title of your dissertation? Have you decided?" enquired Eliza as she wiped off beads of sweat from her forehead.

"No, I haven't! And that's the problem!" replied Claire, panting, despite having only started the jog ten minutes ago. "I've narrowed it down to two titles, but I'm torn between them. My superviser strongly advises me to choose the title: "How does the organisation of human resources increase profitability in the energy industry?", as he said it's much easier to get a high mark in. But I have absolutely no idea about the energy industry! I was more inclined to choose the one on the fashion industry, which we did our placement in last year, but my superviser said he won't be able to help me with that as he has no experience with it, and I'm not confident enough to do this without any help. I really need to get a good mark in this to graduate with a first! We're literally two weeks in, but I feel like I'm just so done with my final year already!" 

"Don't worry! At least you're aiming for a first!" responded Eliza. "I'm barely scraping off a two-one! Plus, I don't even get a choice for my dissertation! On Monday, I was allocated to the title: "The investigation of social communication and interaction in a large and diversified business organisation", which actually sounds so hopeless that I just wanna cry!"

孝恩打開了藏寶箱的蓋子時，魔鬼衝向前試圖阻止。然而，當藏寶箱的內容物揭曉時，魔鬼頓時愣住了；她瞪大了雙眼，露出了驚訝的表情。此時，兩條眼淚緩緩地從她的眼睛流了出來。

「妳哭P啊！愛哭鬼！」好奇的蒂芬尼也趕緊走上前湊熱鬧，看看藏寶箱裏究竟藏了些什麼玩意。事實上，藏寶箱裏的『寶物』全都是羅鵬珠小時候的東西：裏頭放著羅鵬珠嬰兒時期的黑白相片、她小時候玩的洋娃娃、以及收件人欄上寫著『親愛的爸爸收』的信件。對於羅鵬珠的爸爸來説，女兒的一切就是他最珍貴的『寶物』。

Shaun moved the wooden chest out and opened its lid, just when the demon dashed over to prevent them. Then, immediately after its contents were revealed, the demon halted, as if rooted to the spot. Its eyes were wide open and full of astonishment as two trails of tears rolled down its cheeks. 

"Whatcha cryin' about, cry-baby?" enquired Tiffany as she peered into the wooden chest. In fact, the 'treasures' inside the wooden chest were none other than things belonging to Rapunzel when she had been a mere child. There were photos of the baby Rapunzel in her little cradle, including her little dolls and her drawings and letters which were addressed to her 'dearest daddy', things which Rapunzel thought her father, who was a solemn man, never cared a fig about.
