Cinderella approached the knight who was standing by the gate of the large stone castle and said: "Um, excuse me, Mr. Knight. Is this the great wizard Ali Buda's castle?"

Without warning, the knight started trembling all over and muttered some indistinguishable words. 

"OMG, why are you shivering, Mr. Knight? Are you cold or something?" enquired the bewildered Cinderella. 

"Are....are you the..... the wicked witch that......that casted her spell on.....on this castle?" stuttered the knight, trembling with fear as his teeth chattered.

"What wicked witch? What spell?" queried Cinderella, who was beginning to lose her patience. "Seriously, stop talking nonsense, ok? We're just normal people following the Golden Brick Road to see the wizard Ali Buda, who was said to be living in a castle. Then, we came across this castle and was wondering whether this is it. That's all!" 

Only after hearing Cinderella's reassuring words did the knight slowly stop trembling and gradually was able to speak up. 

"I....I'm so sorry for angering you, miss," apologised the knight. "I am too cowardly that I am always afraid of strangers. Nay, this ain't the wizard's castle, but I guess I'm in luck today, as I'd like to see the wizard myself."

好心的灰姑娘走到稻草人旁邊，並將綁著他的手的繩子鬆綁。

「這樣舒服多了！真是太謝謝你了，小姑娘！」稻草人感謝道。

「你是怎麼會被綁在這裡呀？」灰姑娘好奇地問道。

「整件事情說來話長，」稻草人邊搖頭邊說。「在我被綁在這兒之前，我只不過是個平凡的稻草人，認真的在稻田裡工作。然而，我笨到分不清楚烏鴉和麻雀和雉雞，所以總是拼命地看到鳥就追。一天，我的主人正準備開槍獵捕一隻雉雞時，竟被我給追跑了。所以，他一氣之下就把我綁在這兒了！」

「真是個悲慘的故事呢！」灰姑娘說。「喔，對了，抱歉我忘了自我介紹。我的名字是欣蒂・史密斯，只是大家都叫我『灰姑娘』。我正沿著金磚路走，打算去尋找傳說中的阿里布達巫師，問他我阿嬤現在住在哪裡。」

「那真是太巧了！我剛好也要去找偉大的巫師！」稻草人說。「我要請他賜給我一顆腦，這樣我就不會再這麼笨了！」

「那咱倆可以一塊兒去呢！」灰姑娘高興地回答道。「我開始覺得一個人走挺寂寞的呢！」

Amused by the scarecrow that had asked for her help, Cinderella strolled towards the scarecrow and untied him from the branches of the forest trees.

"Phew~ That was so very much better. Thank you! Thank you so very much! I am so very much obliged to you!" The scarecrow thanked Cinderella true-heartedly.

"How did you even end up in that awkward position in the first place?" enquired the curious Cinderella. 

"That was a so very long story," replied the scarecrow, shaking his head. "Before I was tied here, I was just a so very normal scarecrow, standing on a field chasing away the crows. However, I was so very stupid that I couldn't distinguish between sparrows and pheasants and crows, so I ended up chasing every single bird I saw away. My master got so very angry when I chased away a pheasant, which he was about to shoot with his gun, so he took me here and abandoned me by tying me on a tree."

"Wow, that is such a sad story," replied Cinderella sympathetically. "Oh, I'm sorry, I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Cindy Ella Smith, but everyone just calls me Cinderella. I'm going along the Golden Brick Road to meet the wizard Ali Buda to ask him where my grandmother lives."

 "I see....um....is it possible that you can do me another favour?" entreated the scarecrow earnestly. "Could you please take me along with you to the great wizard so I can beg him to give me a brain so I can gain intelligence and wisdom."

"Of course, I'd be glad to have a company," answered Cinderella. "I'm beginning to get lonely walking alone on this road."

灰姑娘吃完了小矮人準備的整桌的甜點後，便決定出發尋找傳說中的巫師阿里布達。

「妳確定妳不再多待個幾天嗎？」萊尼問道。

「在我反悔前，我得趕緊出發！」灰姑娘和三個小矮人道別後便離開了小木屋。灰姑娘渾然不知的是：范德川女士正躲在草叢後面靜靜地觀望著。

「強迫她是沒用的，因為這樣她只會更反感！」范德川女士想著。「我應該悄悄地跟蹤她，確保她安全，並且沒有闖禍。否則我到目前為止一切的努力都要付諸東流了！」

After finishing the entire table of pastries offered to her by the three little dwarves, Cinderella decided to set off on her journey in search of the legendary wizard Ali Buda. 

"Are you sure you don't want to stay for a few more days?" enquired the generous Lenny. "I mean... we won't mind having you here at all, will we?" Kenny and Benny agreed by shaking their heads. 

"No, I'd better head off now before I change my mind," answered Cinderella as she walked out of the wooden cottage and waved goodbye to the three little dwarves. 

Hiding behind some bushes unnoticed by everyone, Ms. Vandertramp was quietly observing Cinderella. 

"There's no point in stopping her forcefully as she will only retaliate," thought Ms. Vandertramp to herself. "I will follow her to make sure that she is safe and doesn't get into any scrapes. Otherwise, all my efforts will be in vain if something happens to Cinderella, resulting in me losing my right to her inheritance."

小矮人本尼忙著在修理被灰姑娘躺壞了的床鋪時，肯尼把美味的糕點從烤箱裡一一端出來。好久沒吃甜食的灰姑娘看得垂涎三尺：「我真的很感謝你們讓我暫時住下來，可是這不可能是長久的打算。你們眞的完全沒有頭緒我阿嬤到底搬到哪兒去了嗎？」灰姑娘邊吃邊問。

「我們真的不清楚，」肯尼搖著頭說。「但是，有一個人說不定能告訴你答案！」

「真假？誰呀？」灰姑娘問道。

「那就是偉大的巫師阿里布達。傳說中，他上知天文、下知地理，是位名符其實的『萬事通』。這種小問題應該難不倒他才對！」肯尼若有所思地一邊摸著他長長的鬍子，一邊說。

「看來，他是我唯一的希望了！」灰姑娘答道。「你們知道阿里布達住哪兒嗎？」

「傳說中，他住在森林深處的一座巨大的城堡裡。只要沿著金磚路走，就可以通往城堡。」萊尼小聲地說。

灰姑娘鎖定了未來的方向後，興高采烈地走向桌子，正想坐在一張小板凳上時突然停住了。「這板凳肯定承受不了我的體重！我看我還是別坐了，站著吃就好！」

Whilst Benny was busy fixing their little beds, which had collapsed under Cinderella's enormous weight, Kenny offered Cinderella a wide variety of pastries which he took out from the oven. Cinderella's mouth immediately started watering after perceiving delicious muffins, tasty apple pies and savoury tarts, which filled the small table.

"I am very much grateful for your generous offer of letting me stay here for as long as I like, but obviously that cannot constitute my long term plan, as I will probably break every single furniture before the first week is over," said Cinderella, laughing. "Are you absolutely clueless about where my grandmother could have moved to?" enquired Cinderella, who was desperate to find her grandmother.

"I'm sorry but we really have no idea," replied Kenny, shaking his head. "But I know of someone who might be able to tell you."

"Oh, really? Who is that?" queried Cinderella. 

"He is the Great Wizard Ali Buda," answered Kenny, caressing his long beard whilst in deep contemplation. "The legend has it that he knows about everything that there is to know in this universe, so he will probably be able to tell you where your grandmother lives."

"Wow! So, he's a know-it-all, huh?" responded Cinderella. "Well, it seems like he's my only hope now. Do you know where he lives?"

"The legend has it that he lives in a gigantic castle situated deep inside the forest," said Lenny, sinking his voice into a deep whisper. "Just follow the golden brick road in the forest and you won't miss the castle in which he lives."

"Okay, then, I'll follow the golden brick road to find the Wizard Ali Buda to ask him where my grandmother lives," concluded Cinderella merrily.

After settling upon a reasonable solution to her problem, Cinderella walked towards the wooden table and was about to grab a little stool to sit on and enjoy the sweet desserts when she checked herself and said: "I'd better not sit on these tiny stools lest I should break them!"

這時，另一位穿戴著藍色帽子的小矮人說話了：「我們的名字叫：肯尼、本尼和萊尼。我們大約十年前就住進這間小木屋了。是一位老太太把房子賣給我們的。」

「天哪！你說的那位老太太一定就是我阿嬤了！」灰姑娘說。「你們知到她現在搬到哪裡去了嗎？」

當肯尼搖了搖頭後，灰姑娘開始慌了，便開始啜泣了起來：「糟了！我現在該怎麼辦？我昨晚爲了逃離後母的魔掌離家出走，我本來要去投靠我阿嬤，可是現在根本找不到她！我該怎麼辦？我要是現在回家，那個女人一定會變本加厲，叫我做更多的家事的！」

三個小矮人看到灰姑娘楚楚可憐的樣子，並且為了報答她幫他們把大野狼趕走，便同意讓她暫時住下來。走進小木屋，灰姑娘看見三張可愛的小床，上面擺著柔軟的枕頭，房子的另一端則有一張樸實的木桌、一個爐灶，還有三張小椅子。

Upon hearing Cinderella's question, the dwarf on the right, who was wearing a blue hat, replied. "We are Kenny, Benny and Lenny," introduced Lenny. "We moved into this little cottage around ten years ago after an old lady sold it to us."

"OMG! That old lady must be my grandmother," interrupted Cinderella. "Do you know where she has moved to?"

Shaking his head, Kenny replied. "Unfortunately, we are uncertain whither the benevolent lady is gone."

"Oh no! What am I to do?" Suddenly, Cinderella felt a sense of hopelessness engulfing her and she began to sob. "I've left my house last night to run away from my wicked stepmother in search for my grandmother, but now I have no idea where she is. What am I to do? I cannot return to my own house as my evil stepmother is bound to continue torturing me by telling me to do those stupid house chores." 

Feeling extremely sorry for poor Cinderella, the three benevolent dwarves agreed to let her stay with them for as long as she needed to in order to thank her for chasing away the wolf. Upon entering the wooden cottage, Cinderella perceived a cosy little room, which was very simply furnished with three tiny beds with soft mattresses and comfortable looking pillows on one side of the room and a small wooden table with three little chairs and a stove on the opposite side.

突然，灰姑娘聽見了個爪子抓木板的聲音。她走近一看才赫然發現，原來是一隻大灰狼正凶猛地抓著小木屋的牆壁。

「天哪～大野狼要來把阿嬤吃掉了，就像童話故事裡『小紅帽』的劇情一樣！」灰姑娘心想。「不行，我得想想辦法。」

Suddenly, Cinderella heard a loud scratching noise. Only after she got closer to the wooden cottage did Cinderella realise the source of the sound. In fact, a large, grey wolf was fiercely scratching at the newly painted orange door of the wooden cottage whilst growling menacingly. 

"Oh my goodness, it's a big, bad wolf coming to eat grandma, just like in the fairy tale 'Little Red Riding Hood'," Cinderella thought to herself. "What should I do? I've gotta stop it before it starts attacking my poor, old grandmother!"

灰姑娘欣蒂一輩子都過慣了茶來伸手、飯來張口的優渥生活，直到她離家出走後才第一次感到絕望，不知自己該何去何從。這時，灰姑娘突然想起媽媽以前跟她說說過的話：「妳的外婆就住在那片森林裏。如果哪一天妳需要人陪伴，妳就去找她！」

「可是，我從來沒見過我阿嬤，我怎麼會知道她長什麼樣子啊？」灰姑娘心想。「啊，算了，不管他！我先走進森林裡，再沿路問人，看有沒有人可以幫我帶路。」

於是，下定決心後的灰姑娘便毅然決然地朝著森林的方向前進。

After furiously leaving the house, Cinderella was unsure where to go. All her life, Cinderella had led a life of luxury for eighteen years at home with very little to distress or vex her. Only now that she was forced into the outside world all by herself did she start to feel a sense of helplessness engulfing her. 

Then, Cinderella suddenly remembered her mother's words from her childhood: "Your grandmother lives in the forest yonder. If ever you feel in need of consolation, she's the person to go to!"

"But how do I know what my grandmother looks like if I've never seen her before?" wondered Cinderella. "Never mind! I shall head towards the forest and ask around. Who knows? Maybe someone will lead me to her." 

After arriving upon a reasonable conclusion, Cinderella walked resolutely towards the direction of the forest. Overhead, the sky was half crystalline, half misty, and the atmosphere was chill and vibrant with rich tension. High above, ringed all about with a sickly yellow glare, the sinking moon struggled in vain to escape from a pursuing cloud.

得知白馬王子的生日舞會的日期後，營養師范德川女士並開始與助理朵拉一起幫灰姑娘欣蒂擬定『瘦身計畫』。不僅灰姑娘的飲食作息都受到嚴格管控，灰姑娘每天的運動量也得增加一倍。

After receiving news of the exact date of Prince Charming's birthday ball, which was less than a month away, Ms. Vandertramp commenced to draw up a plan with her assistant Dora in order to transform Cinderella's figure. Not only did Cinderella have to stick to an absolutely strict diet, where the number of no-carb days in a week was increased from one day to two days, but also the amount of exercise Cinderella had to do per day was also doubled. 

"Don't you worry, Cinderella," said Ms. Vandertramp encouragingly. "If you stick to my plan, I'm sure you will be able to lose half of your current weight in no time. That way you will no longer be a fatty anymore!"

除了每天監控灰姑娘欣蒂的飲食作息外，營養師范德川女士還規定她要做運動：不僅得每天在跑步機上跑半小時，還要幫忙僕人們打掃家裡。

有天，看著灰姑娘怨念的擦著地時，范德川女士心想：「不能一直強迫她做事，總有一天她會反抗的。看來，是時候給她一點動力了。」

In addition to keeping a strict control over Cinderella's dietary habits, Ms. Vandertramp also paid special attention to Cinderella's daily exercises. Not only did Cinderella have to run on the treadmill for half an hour a day, but also she was forced to help the servants clean the house. 

"Manual labour is also a good form of exercise," said Ms. Vandertramp to her assistant Dora, who took out her notebook again to take notes. 

"No, it's no use forcing Cinderella to do chores against her own will as she is likely to retaliate sooner or later." Looking at Cinderella's angry face whilst mopping the floor, Ms. Vandertramp thought to herself. "I have to give Cinderella some motivation."

史密斯先生立完遺書後便去世了。營養師范德川女士依照約定，與助理朵拉搬進了欣蒂的家。

「妳們是誰？在我家幹嘛？」欣蒂看見兩名陌生人提著行李在玄關時，生氣地問道。原來，史密斯先生臨終前還來不及和女兒溝通好就離世了。

范德川女士好聲好氣地向欣蒂解釋了整件事情的來龍去脈後，便說：「總而言之，現在就由我來管理妳一切的飲食與作息。我會盡我所能儘早讓妳瘦下來。」因為，欣蒂愈早嫁給王子，營養師得到的遺產金額也會愈多。

「好啦！站上這個磅秤，讓我看看你現在有多重！」

然而，當欣蒂站上去後，磅秤竟然立刻就壞掉了。

「哎呀呀，我的老天鵝啊！」營養師搖著頭說。「看來我們得換個更大的磅秤，還得立刻開始擬定作戰計畫了！」站在一旁的助理朵拉點點頭，並拿出筆記本開始寫字。

Not long after Mr. Smith had written his will, he died. Ms. Vandertramp, keeping her promise to Mr. Smith, moved in to Cinderella's house along with her assistant Dora, a slim, blond girl in her early twenties. 

"Who are you and what are you doing in my house?" demanded Cinderella after perceiving a strange woman with a luggage appearing by the doorway. In fact, Mr. Smith did not have time to inform his daughter of the contents of his will.

After explaining patiently to Cinderella the contents of Mr. Smith's will and how it is related to her mission, Ms. Vandertramp said: "Cinderella, from now on, I will be in charge of your dietary habits and I will do my best in making you slim as soon as possible. Do you understand?" Since the earlier Cinderella marries the prince, the less she will spend out of her father's inheritance, and the more will remain for Ms. Vandertramp.

"Now step on that scale over there so I can understand what I will be dealing with," continued Ms. Vandertramp haughtily as she pointed at a scale nearby. 

After Cinderella stepped on the scale, the scale broke immediately, indicating her to be heavier than the 100kg limit. 

"Oh! Dear me," exclaimed Ms. Vandertramp shaking her head. "Looks like we will have to get a larger scale and start drawing up a dietary plan immediately." Dora only nodded as she took notes on a piece of paper.

Once upon a time, there was a wealthy merchant whose name was Mr. Smith. He owned a small boutique in town and had a curly mustache. Mrs. Smith was a gentlewoman of exceptional disposition and sweetness of temper, who often helped out her husband in their boutique or stayed at home to manage domestic affairs. The benevolent couple had a daughter whom they named Cindy Ella Smith, after her great grandmother. Cindy was a beautiful and sweet little girl with golden hair and large round eyes, just like those of her mother. 

Nevertheless, a consumptive illness snatched away the life of benevolent Mrs. Smith when Cindy was merely seven years old. Mr. Smith, whose love for his wife prevented him to fall in love with another woman, did not remarry, thus leaving the father and daughter alone in the world with no one to depend upon except for one another. In consequence of her mother's death, Cindy began binge eating uncontrollably to suppress her forever melancholy mood. Feeling pity for his daughter's misfortune, Mr. Smith commenced to spoil Cindy and often connived at her unreasonable behaviour. As a result, Cindy grew up to become a bad-tempered, overweight girl whose only hobby was eating. Cindy became so fat that she could not even utter her own name clearly, so when she announced herself as "Cindy Ella Smith", people often mistook it to be "Cinderella Smith". Therefore, gradually, people started calling her Cinderella as a nickname.

"The portrait!" Suddenly, Tiffany sat up on her bed and turned around the take a look at the portrait of the woman, which was still hanging on the wall. After realising that the portrait was the same as before, Tiffany rubbed her eyes and mumbled, "It must of been my dream!"

"Oui, je suis," répondit la voix de Tiffany sous le voile du mariage.

"Vous avez déclaré votre consentement devant l'Église. Que le Seigneur, dans sa bonté, renforce votre consentement et vous remplisse tous les deux de ses bénédictions. Maintenant, le marié peut lever le voile et embrasser la mariée", poursuivit la grand-mère de Blythe, revenant à l'anglais.

As Jeffrey and Tiffany reached the end of the aisle, Blythe's grandma, who was standing behind a desk, began to speak.

"Mr. Tan Huat. Are you willing to take Ms. Ang Huey as your lawfully wedded wife, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, until death do thee part?"

"Yes, I do," replied Jeffrey, taking the name of Ahuat, who was allegedly his identity in his former life.

Then, the old lady began to speak in her rusty Taiwanese Hokkien, which Blythe had scribbled down for her last minute, and her speech could be translated as: "Ms. Ang Huey. Are you willing to take Mr. Tan Huat as your lawfully wedded husband, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, until death do thee part?"

"Yes, I do," Tiffany's voice responded from under the wedding veil.

"You have declared your consent before the Church. May the Lord in his goodness strengthen your consent and fill you both with his blessings. Now, the groom may lift the veil and kiss the bride," continued Blythe's Grandma, switching back to English again.

經過了一番準備後，新郎和新娘便於良辰吉時乘著由布萊的哥哥～李過萊所駕駛的禮車抵達了婚禮會場。雖然蒂芬尼的臉被頭紗蓋住了，但大夥兒還是感覺得出來她身體裏的靈魂是阿花的；這令大家不禁在臺灣炎熱的夏日裏感到了背脊一陣涼。坐在蒂芬尼旁邊、西裝筆挺的傑佛瑞也感覺格外地僵硬。

Après quelques préparatifs supplémentaires, à l'heure fixée,  les futurs mariés arrivèrent dans une limousine conduite par le frère de Blythe - Gary. Bien que le visage de Tiffany soit caché par un voile de mariage, le groupe d'amis pouvait sentir que c'était Ahuey à l'intérieur de son corps, ce qui avait provoqué un frisson dans le dos. Jeffrey, qui était assis à côté de Tiffany dans son beau costume, était exceptionnellement raide.

After some further preparation, at the appointed time, the bride and groom arrived in a limousine driven by Blythe's brother, Gary. Despite Tiffany's face being concealed by a wedding veil, the group of friends could feel that it was Ahuey inside her body, which caused a chill to run down their spines. Jeffrey, who was sitting next to Tiffany in his handsome suit, was unusually stiff.

隔天早上，大夥兒都起得特別早，匆匆梳洗後就趕到了擧辦婚禮的會場～臺北的一間小敎堂，並開始佈置會場。

Le lendemain matin, le groupe d'amis s'est réveillé tôt, s'habillèrent et arrivèrent au lieu du mariage - une petite église locale à Taipei. Ils commencèrent à décorer le lieu et à préparer le début de la cérémonie.

The following morning, bleary eyed and bushy tailed, the group of friends woke up early, got dressed and arrived at the venue for the wedding - a small, local church in Taipei. They started decorating the venue and preparing for the commencement of the ceremony.

大夥兒搭乘了台北捷運抵達了台北101站，來到了被封為『臺北曼哈頓』的信義計畫區，這裡不僅擁有多棟高聳入雲的摩天大廈以及高檔的米其林餐廳，更因爲是一座擁有著眾多國際知名品牌的奢華購物商城而著名；但台北信義區最令人著迷的是這裡的浪漫夜景。

「信義計畫區有16間百貨公司，我們該從哪間開始逛起啊？」Eliza 問道。

「別擔心，我已經將逛街路線都規劃好了！」布萊答道。「我們第一站是台北101購物中心、再來是新光三越百貨公司，最後再去寶麗廣場。」

「那咱們還在這兒等啥呢？趕緊開逛吧！」Claire 興高采烈地説。

「天哪！」傑佛瑞無奈地嘆著氣説。

Après avoir embarqué dans le métro de Taipei depuis leur résidence temporaire à l'appartement de la grand-mère de Blythe, ils descendirent à la station de MRT Taipei 101 et arrivèrent au cœur du district de Xinyi, qui est souvent connu sous le nom de "Manhattan de Taipei'' pour ses gratte-ciel modernes, son luxe centres commerciaux avec de nombreuses marques haut de gamme, restaurants Michelin et vues nocturnes pittoresques.

"Il y a totalement 16 grands magasins dans le district de Xinyi, vers lequel devrait-on aller en premier?" s'enquit Eliza, dépassée par la densité des centres commerciaux du quartier, qui est en fait le plus élevé du monde.

"Ne t'inquiète pas, j'ai déjà planifié notre itinéraire de shopping", répondit Blythe. "D'abord, Taipei 101 Mall, puis Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Department Store, puis enfin, Bellavita Shopping Mall. Suivez-moi!"

"Alors qu'attendons-nous?" s'écria Claire en extase.

"Oh la la," soupira Jeffrey.

After boarding the Taipei Metro from their temporary residence at Blythe's grandma's apartment, they alighted at the Taipei 101 MRT Station and arrived at the core of the glamorous Xinyi District, which was often known as 'the Manhattan of Taipei' for its modern skyscrapers, luxury shopping malls with numerous high-end brands, fancy Michelin restaurants, and picturesque night views.

"There are 16 department stores in Xinyi District, which one should we go to first?" enquired Eliza, overwhelmed by the density of shopping malls in the district, which is in fact the highest in the world.

"Don't worry, I've already planned out our shopping route," replied Blythe. "First, Taipei 101 Mall, then Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Department Store, then finally, Bellavita Shopping Mall. Just follow me!" 

"Then what're we waiting for? Let's shop till we drop!" exclaimed Claire in ecstasy. 

"Oh bother," sighed Jeffrey.

蒂芬尼再度暈過去後，布萊便將她與阿花的對話一五一十的轉述給大家聽。

「所以我得娶附身在蒂芬尼身體裏的阿花？這⋯⋯這也太荒謬了吧！」傑佛瑞聽到這件消息後大吃一驚。

「恐怕我們別無選擇，」布萊搖著頭回應道。「她非常固執，不願意跟我討價還價。」

「看來，爲了拯救蒂芬尼，不讓她永遠失去肉體，咱們也只有順從阿花的意思了！」孝恩皺著眉頭説。

「那婚禮何時擧行？」Claire 問道。

「她給了我們一個期限，」布萊答道。「姥姥説得没錯，蒂芬尼的身體被佔據超過七天的話，她就再也拿不回來了！所以，我們得在那之前趕緊辦完婚禮。」

「我去拿黃曆看看哪天是好日子！」外婆説畢便順手從書架上取下一本黃曆，翻了幾頁後，便説：「看來，明天是個不錯的日子。再來就是五天後了，可是，恐怕那天就已經超過期限了！」

Après que Tiffany soit redevenue inconsciente, Blythe expliqua toute la situation aux autres.

"Alors, je dois épouser cette fille Ahuey, qui sera dans le corps de Tiffany? C'est ridicule ..... et ..... et scandaleux!" s'exclama Jeffrey en apprenant la nouvelle choquante.

"J'ai bien peur que nous n'ayons pas d'autre choix", répondit Blythe en secouant la tête. "Elle est très obstinée et ne négocierait aucune condition avec moi."

"Donc, il semble que si on veut sauver Tiffany afin qu'elle ne perde pas possession de son corps, on doit satisfaire les exigences du mauvais esprit", conclut Shaun pensivement.

"Quand aura lieu le mariage?" s'enquit Claire.

"Malheureusement, elle nous a donné un délai", ajouta Blythe. "Mamie avait raison, après sept jours de possession, Tiffany perdra automatiquement possession de son corps. Donc, nous devrons organiser le mariage avant que cela ne se produise."

"Attendez un instant, je vais chercher mon almanach de Huang Li pour voir quel jour est bon pour un mariage", déclara la grand-mère taïwanaise en sortant un livre de la bibliothèque. Après avoir feuilleté les pages, elle conclut. "On dirait que demain est une bonne journée. Le prochain jour de chance pour un mariage est dans 5 jours à partir d'aujourd'hui, ce qui ne fonctionnera pas, car cela aurait dépassé la date limite."

After Tiffany fell unconscious again, Blythe explained the whole situation to everyone. 

"So, I have to marry this girl Ahuey, who will be inside Tiffany's body? That's ridiculous.....and.....and outrageous!" exclaimed Jeffrey upon being informed of the shocking news. 

"I'm afraid we have no other options," replied Blythe, shaking her head. "She is very obstinate and wouldn't negotiate any conditions with me." 

"So, it looks like if we want to save Tiffany so that she won't lose possession of her body, we have to satisfy the demands of the evil spirit," concluded Shaun pensively, with his eyebrows stitched. 

"When will the wedding take place?" enquired Claire.

"Unfortunately, she gave us a deadline," added Blythe. "Grandma was right, after seven days of being possessed, Tiffany will automatically lose possession of her body. So, we'll have to host the wedding before that happens."

"Wait a moment, I will fetch my Huang Li almanac to see which day is good for a wedding," said Grandma as she took out a book from the bookshelf. After flicking through the pages, she concluded. "Looks like tomorrow's a good day. The next lucky day for a wedding is 5 days from today, which won't work, as that would have passed the deadline."

「就算傑佛瑞眞的是阿發的轉世，那又如何？」布萊用台語反問被阿花的惡靈附身的蒂芬尼説。「他已不是你所認識的阿發了，也已不記得上輩子的事兒了。還有，妳現在附身在我們的好朋友上，可是她和這整件事情都毫無關係。能否請妳高抬貴手、放過無辜、離開她的身體，不要再折磨她了？」

「不！」阿花尖叫道。「我等了一百多年，終於等到了我的阿發。我要他遵守諾言，以滿足我臨死前的心願。」

「妳的心願？」布萊問道。

「我要他娶我！」阿花回應道。「就在他答應要娶我為妻的那天，我被日本軍官強行帶去日本做小妾，就算我懷了將軍的孩子，他還是始終没有給我一個正式的婚禮。於是，我被將軍的那兩個妻子害到流產後，臨死的願望就是能夠與阿發成婚。這就是爲何我的靈魂至今始終無法安息的原因。只要我的願望實現了，我便再無牽掛，得已升天。」

"Oui, Jeffrey est peut-être la réincarnation de ton Ahuat, et alors?" demanda Blythe en taïwanais Hokkien à Tiffany, qui était possédé par l'esprit maléfique d'Ahuey. "Il n'est plus l'Ahuat que vous connaissez, car il ne possède plus les souvenirs de sa vie passée. En ce moment, votre esprit est à l'intérieur de notre amie, le corps de Tiffany. Alors, veuillez sortir de son corps, car elle est innocente et a rien à voir avec tout ça. "

"NON!" cria Ahuey. "Après plus de cent ans, j'ai enfin retrouvé mon cher Ahuat. Je dois réaliser mon dernier souhait et Ahuat devra tenir sa promesse!"

"Que voulez-vous dire?" s'enquit Blythe.

"Je veux épouser Ahuat", répondit Ahuey. "J'ai été séparé de force avec Ahuat et emmené au Japon par ce général japonais, mais il ne m'a jamais donné le mariage qu'il m'a promis, même après que je suis tombée enceinte de son bébé. Tout simplement parce que je n'étais que sa concubine. Ainsi, après avoir eu mon fausse couche causée par ses épouses méchantes, mon dernier souhait était de rencontrer à nouveau Ahuat et de devenir sa femme. C'est pourquoi mon esprit est toujours incapable de se reposer en paix et d'aller au ciel. Ce n'est qu'après que mon souhait soit exaucé que je puisse monter au ciel paisiblement. "

"Yes, Jeffrey may be the reincarnate of your Ahuat, so now what?" asked Blythe in Taiwanese Hokkien to Tiffany, who was possessed by Ahuey's evil spirit. "He is no longer the Ahuat you know, as he no longer possesses the memories from his past life. Right now, your spirit is inside our friend, Tiffany's body. So, please get out of her body, as she is innocent and has nothing to do with all this."

"NO!" shouted Ahuey. "After more than a hundred years, I have finally found my dear Ahuat. I have to fulfill my dying wish and Ahuat will have to fulfill his promise to me!"

"What do you mean?" enquired Blythe. 

"I want to marry Ahuat," responded Ahuey. "I was forcefully separated with Ahuat and taken to Japan by that Japanese General, but he never gave me the wedding he promised me, even after I became pregnant with his baby. Just because I was only his concubine. Thus, after I had my miscarriage caused by his wicked wives, my dying wish was to meet Ahuat again and become his wife. That is why my spirit is still unable to rest in peace and go to heaven. Only after my wish is fulfilled can I rise to heaven peacefully."

符咒被貼上古畫卷軸的那一刻，大夥兒聽到了一個撕裂聲，他們眼睜睜地看著符咒在面前燒成了灰燼，而古畫卻毫髮無傷。突然，蒂芬尼從牀上坐了起來，用著鋭利的眼神緩緩地掃過整個房間；她看到傑佛瑞後，就目不轉睛的一直注視著他。

「天哪！看來外婆的咒語不但没有成功將惡靈封印，還把她召喚來了！」傑佛瑞一邊害怕地緩緩往後退，一邊説。

「這個惡靈的怨念太強大了，咱們無法強行將其封印！」布萊的外婆鎮定地説。「看來，咱們只能聽聽她到底想做些什麼了！否則，恐怕她會對你們的朋友造成不利。」

突然，被阿花的惡靈附身的蒂芬尼以迅雷不及掩耳的速度站了起來，衝到嚇壞了的傑佛瑞前面，並伸出手、輕輕的撫摸著他的臉頰。

「阿發，遮旣年了後，我總算是揣著你啊！你過了咁賀？」蒂芬尼用著台語説。
